Quality and Production Method
The nattokinase used by VITAmin is approved by the EU as a Novel Food and is obtained from GMO-free soybeans. Production is based on the fermentation of sterilized soybean powder with Bacillus subtilis var. natto, supplemented with glucose, sucrose, and water, without the addition of salts. The isolation of nattokinase is carried out by multi-stage filtration processes common in food processing. The product is then standardized with dextrin and finally dried.
